Finding Wisdom Print E-mail
I wrote a book along with Scott Zimmerman and Dr. Tony Alessandra called The Platinum Rule for Small Business Mastery. It is available on www.amazon.com. The Platinum Rule teaches us to treat others the way they want to be treated. This is especially important in business (sales, marketing, employees, etc). My daughter (Emily) just graduated from college and was reading the book. Below is the email I received from her. "A quote on sales I thought you’d appreciate, because it parallels the Platinum Rule: “You have two ways to make the deal…You can make it your way, proving to the customer that you are wonderful, wise, powerful and right. Then the customer either buys once and never again, or he doesn’t buy. Or you can invite the customer, hear his troubles, soothe his fears, show understanding and he buys. Your way or his way. Your way, you feel superior all the way back to your…house…His way, and he brings his children to buy from you next time.” The irony here…the quote came from the fantasy novel I’ve been reading today Cold Fire, by Tamora Pierce. You find wisdom in the most interesting places…." I think she says it best that we can find wisdom in the most interesting places if you chose to look. We must first what to find widom and them look for it where it is-- right infront of us. To your success, Ron Finklestein330-990-0788
